Small Business Development

The SBDC office in Putnam County is made possible through support from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the University of North Florida, the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Board of County Commissioners, City of Palatka, and the Putnam County Development Authority.

The Putnam County office of the Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) is located in space donated by the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, and serves businesses all across the county.

Certified Business Analysts provide entrepreneurs with professional business consulting at no cost, management training, and vital information they need to grow and succeed in a complex and competitive global environment.

The FSBDC is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service network funded in part through cooperative agreements with the U.S. SBA, Defense Logistics Agency, State of Florida and other private and public partners; hosted by the University of West Florida; and nationally accredited by the Association of SBDCs.

Funding this full-service SBDC program in Putnam County requires the support of local funding partners. Local dollars can then be used as cash match to attract new federal dollars and to keep existing federal dollars invested in the county, more than doubling the local contribution. If you are interested in contributing to this program please contact the Chamber or the local SBDC office direct (386-328-1503)
