Nation's Most Popular Chicken Chain Looks to Build Historic Palatka Restaurant Off State Road 19
Palatka, FL — Chick-fil-A is officially coming to Palatka, bringing its famous chicken sandwiches to Putnam County for the first time. The Atlanta-based Foresite Group is making plans to build the popular fast food giant's first-ever location in the county, according to recent filings.
The site would become Palatka's first location of the renowned chicken sandwich retailer and is set to be located off State Road 19, in the area next to KFC and just north of Panther Road, the Jacksonville Business Journal reported.

Capacity: Seating for 90 patrons inside

Status: Environmental approval in progress, permits not yet issued
Documentation states that "the plan shown is conceptual in nature and based on documentation provided to the Foresite Group, LLC by Chick-fil-A, INC," according to the Jacksonville Business Journal. Engineers are seeking environmental approval for the construction of the new Chick-fil-A site.
The chain is already embarking on significant expansion plans in Northeast Florida, with new locations planned in northern St. Johns County and other areas throughout the region.
