Putnam County Leaders Unite Around Shared Challenges and Bold Solutions

Over the past month, the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce convened two industry‑specific workforce roundtables—Healthcare and Construction/Manufacturing—bringing together employers, educators, and workforce partners to identify barriers, share resources, and chart a path toward a stronger local talent pipeline. While each sector faces unique pressures, both conversations revealed a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and long‑term workforce resilience.

Across both sessions, one theme was unmistakable: Putnam County’s strength lies in its partnerships. Employers, educators, and workforce organizations are aligned in their desire to build sustainable pipelines, support young talent, and create opportunities that keep workers rooted in the community.

These roundtables are more than conversations—they are catalysts for coordinated action. With continued collaboration, Putnam County is well‑positioned to grow a resilient workforce that meets the needs of today’s employers and tomorrow’s economy.

We will continue this important conversation in June with two follow‑up roundtable sessions.

June 16 • 8:30 AM – Healthcare Industry Roundtable

June 17 • 8:30 AM – Manufacturing & Construction Roundtable
