Q1 2026 Putnam County Economic Development Activity Dashboard

At the April 28, 2026, meeting of the Putnam County Board of County Commissioners, the Economic Development team presented a comprehensive report on key economic indicators in Putnam County. Highlights from the report include $1.3B of capital investment activity in the commercial development pipeline, $15M in permit activity for new single-family homes, and steadily growing wages for residents.

Moving forward, the Putnam Chamber of Commerce will launch an online dashboard that will include much of this same information so residents, businesses, and prospective businesses can see the progress our community is making. Data will be updated as new information becomes available, sometimes monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the source.
