Dock, Cast, and Unwind at These Top Riverfront Spots
Here in the “Big Bass Capital of the World,” anglers have their pick of fish camps dotted along the St. Johns River and its connected waterways. For those hoping to hit the water before sunrise in search of lunkers, there’s not a more convenient way to experience a taste of Old Florida. However, today’s fish camps offer much more than just a place to sleep before a day on the water.
Local fish camps on the St. Johns River give visitors a chance to wake up to colorful sunrises and sit by a crackling campfire trading fish tales at night. Some serve up tasty waterside bites and cold beverages, and others offer amenities that include swimming pools, pickleball, and live music.
